Jim Becker brings more than 30 years of experience in music presentation and broadcasting, along with a lifelong passion for preserving and sharing some of the greatest music ever recorded. Throughout his career, Jim has worked across a wide variety of formats and genres, including Rhythm & Blues, Top 40, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Motown, and Classic Country.

Many listeners throughout the Hampton Roads region of Virginia know Jim as the longtime host and producer of The Legend Factory, a popular radio program that aired for many years through the Chesapeake Public Schools radio system. His extensive knowledge of music history, combined with his warm and engaging presentation style, helped make the program a favorite among listeners of all ages.

Today, The Legend Factory continues to entertain audiences across the United States and Canada, streaming 24 hours a day on Live365. Jim also hosts The Legend Factory Live Show every Saturday beginning at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. The weekly live broadcast features an exciting mix of classic hits from the 1950s through the mid-1980s, artist spotlights, music trivia, special features, listener requests, and fond memories from radio's golden era.
